A Proactive City Centre Patrol Update

Over the last two days, officers from the Town Hall Neighbourhood Team have been carrying out a mixture of late night uniformed and plain-clothes proactive policing operations across the Chinatown area.

As a result of this activity, officers made four arrests, including:

🔹 1 male arrested for Breach of Court Bail
🔹 3 males arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply Drugs
🔹 1 male arrested for Possession of Class B Drugs
🔹 1 male arrested for Possession of Class A, B and C Drugs, as well as Handling Stolen Goods

In addition, officers conducted multiple stop searches across the area as part of ongoing efforts to tackle criminality and keep the community safe. 

Neighbourhood officers also responded to community concerns by:

🔊 Addressing loud music being played at the pagoda during late hours
🚫 Tackling anti-social behaviour
💊 Preventing and disrupting drug use within the area

This activity demonstrates our continued commitment to making Chinatown a safe and welcoming place for residents, businesses and visitors.
